Cat Fables ~ A Series of Feline Tales
In a time long ago, of seasons as many as the grains of sand, cats regal as a King's throne, reposed, safe and free. Adorned and worshiped for their beauty and grace, no harm came to them. The sun illuminated their silken fur, in the aura, their eyes saw no evil. But evil was lurking in the shadows, and soon was to destroy the feline's heritage. A window opened ~ a land once pure and light, faded into darkness. Angry men came from afar. They were weak men with no soul nor heart of their own. Cold men, as stone, without remorse or destination. They were cursed for their inept existence. They banished the innocence of the beloved feline, to all corners of the world. There, they would seek in solitude, their destiny. Some cats, so blessed found a Forever Home. Others were forever in transition. Millions lived from the land, seeking food, and shelter from the cold winds. Many met horrific cruelties. And everywhere there was abandonment, neglect and sadness. Millions were put to death. Rescue angels came, their banners scarlet, glistened in the morning sun. Across the lands, they came seeking to save the felines. With multitudes of cats, neither spayed nor neutered, it was a daunting task. Still they persevered. They created sanctuaries, no kill shelters, where every cat got a caring home. Adoption host were widespread for placements in loving, responsible homes. Feral cat rescue loomed near. Neuter/spay and release programs, and lifelong care. Angels took in rescue animals, providing clean, safe home environments. Food, water, medical care and love abound. Evil men were persecuted, and as they had done, was done to them. Some would be put to death for their unforgivable transgressions. The scent of morning glory was in the air. All felines would follow an illumination, to a safe harbor, and secure transport. Their journey would lead them to love, and a Forever Home. And as this, would be written cat fables ~ the beginning of the prophecies.
